The World Fashion Channel covers a wide range of topics, so when I was working on rebranding, I focused more on the fashion category, and more specifically, the fashion shows featured on the channel.
The rebranding of WFC was inspired by the boldness of the runways, creativity of the apparel, and the dynamism of the fashion industry. A rebrand was required for this channel in order to adapt to new mediums like mobile apps, and websites. Also, by rebranding this channel, I was aiming to appeal to both millenials and Gen Z.
The logo and the typography was inspired by the top view of a fashion runway, and the dynamic patterns were inspired from all different kinds of woven textile.
